When clicking Claim/Disown over single macros multiple times - other NON-SDM macros'es content is replaced with text from another macro (original macros text is lost).

E.g. after clicking this button multiple times, one of my macro became:

/click [button:2] |CFFFF6666NEW_SEQUENCE|R RightButton; [button:3] |CFFFF6666NEW_SEQUENCE|R MiddleButton; [button:4] |CFFFF6666NEW_SEQUENCE|R Button4; [button:5] |CFFFF6666NEW_SEQUENCE|R Button5; |CFFFF6666NEW_SEQUENCE|R

I'll have to set up a new account to test this safely.

(Even then, I don't know if I can help)

I cannot reproduce this:

  • made a character-specific macro on one character
  • log into another character
  • examine my /macro list (non-SDM macros) .. (both global and character-specific).
  • open SDM
  • Press Claim/Disown on that other character-specific macro several times
  • examine /macro

I see no changes to any /macro if the SDM macro is currently claimed or currently disowned.

I tried with the client both in English and in Russian.

Some questions I can think of:

  • Do I understand the steps to take?
  • Can you think of anything unusual about your macros?
  • Does this happen with all of your SDM macros, or just one?
  • Does it seem to choose a particular /macro or macro position to change?
  • Does the text in the /macro become the same text every time, or does it change?
  • Are you using the maximum number of /macro global or character slots?

I'll test it again today, and will make a video of the problem.

I've uploaded a quick video. Quality is low to keep file size to a minimum. FLV file format should be openable by Most media players.

In fact, in this video count of erased macros'es is more than one. SDM deleted "Shiv" macro and "Stealth" macro.
The issue can be reproduced with just only "Super Duper Macro" addon enabled (no other addons interfering).

Thank you for making a video, that helped a lot.

I understand your instructions and I performed the same actions. I was briefly able to get some errors. I was creating and deleting macros in the traditional way (in the /macro character-specific tab) and then the problem went away!

Now that I have something to go on, I can investigate more until I reproduce the problem better.

I have been experimenting, and I still cannot reproduce this problem!

I tried very hard, until I even found a new issue:

I think I must explore with your particular macro caches and SavedVariables; thank you for giving those.
