Managing the Overview
This Section mostly applies to the Tabled mode of JoyPro.
JoyPro supports tiered sorting. You can sort by Relation name, Device Name, or DirectInput axis/button. You can either sort it A-Z or Z-A, just click the according button again. In order to do the Sorting click here on the orange Buttons: Whatever you have clicked last has the highest tier of sorting. So if you want to see a sorted list of buttons under each device, you can first click on Button Name and then Device name.
Joypro allows you to create tags/groups you can put relations into. In order to create a group, you need to open the Group Manager by clicking here:
Just add the group name in the text field and click add. It needs to be at least 2 characters long and then click add. Once you have added it, you will see the list of the existing groups. If you want to delete a group, you find the delete button for it also here in the Group Manager:
Once you re happy click on close. In order to assign a relation to a group click in the column Relation Management on the Dropdown menu you add the checkmarks to the Groups it should belong to.
Once you have assigned the tags or groups to the relations you can filter them in the group filter here:
You can also search filter your existing relations for parts of the Relation name if you type your search text in here:
If you already assigned a bind to a relation, you can also filter the relations by the device it got bound to, by make a selection here:
If you want to see only relations which impact a certain game or plane, you can use the Plane filter. Check whatever Plane relations you want to see here:
If you are in table mode, it highlights the current row, your mouse hovers over in orange, so you can keep track off, to which relation you are making a change. For anything that alters the relation itself, you have the column relation management. Where you can edit an existing relation. Create a duplicate, like for when you want different axis profiles for different planes, or get rid of the Relation by deleting it here.
Often the Joystick name seems very long and you might want to shorten it. If you want to replace it with an Alias, simply left click on the Device name This window opens then. You can type in the new Alias and then if you are happy click on apply change. If you want to get rid of the alias click on restore Original.
