Troubleshooting

If you have problems with your mailcow installation, take a look at the following list:

Here are some common problems:

mail for YOURDOMAIN.TLD loops back to myself

Check, if you made the domain a backup-MX and disable this feature if you don't know what it does.

I can not send any mails

Head over to www.dnsbl.info and check, if your IP is listed on a blacklist.

If you have an dynamic IP assigned from your ISP just wait a day and test again (or power off your router, wait a few minutes and connect it again).

If this doesn't solve the problem, check if you are using the correct ports:

php5imap is not activated / Z-Push complains about missing php5imap

Install php5imap: sudo apt-get install php5-imap and activate it: sudo php5enmod imap

5.7.1 user@domain: Sender address rejected: not owned by user user@domain.
