Mezzmo and the Mezzmo Kodi Addon have a powerful set of search tools allowing you to customize what to search for, allowing searching of all metadata and a quick recall search feature. The settings Search tab has options for controlling the search features of the Mezzmo Kodi addon. Beginning with version 2.2.0.1 of the Mezzmo Kodi Addon you can adjust the maximum number of search results returned by your Mezzmo server between 25-500 with 100 as the default. If you have large TV series or similar and want to return all episodes you may want to adjust this higher than the default. This setting value can be changed without restarting the addon.
Starting with the Video option you can select what types of media and metadata will be included in a Mezzmo library searches. The search history option selects how many prior searches you want the Mezzmo Kodi addon to retain for quick repeat searches. If enabled you will see the search history when you click on the search context menu option.
Clicking on the Enter New Search option will bring up a keyboard for entering a new search.
Clicking on a prior search will execute the search again. In this example I clicked on Simon Pegg and got a listing of all movies and TV shows he has starred in. This search came from the Mezzmo server and took approximately 2 seconds to display.
