Access:

  • Automatically popups when a session starts.

The module that shows items in a session, and enables candidate to select a response for each item.

loot-frame

All tradeable loot is by default sent to the ML (group leader) to start a session with. This is all done automatically, and only if the item is tradeable. If enabled (see "Allow Keeping") you'll get the option to keep your item through a popup that asks if you want to keep a tradeable item. Clicking yes means it's yours, and it won't be added to the session.

The Loot Frame will show at most 5 items at a time, and for this example only 1 item entry is covered, as they're basically all the same.

  1. Item Icon
The icon of the item being rolled for. Hovering over it will show the item's tooltip, and it's clickable like any other item (e.g. ctrl-click to see wardrobe, shift-click to link in chat). Furthermore the icon can be double clicked which toggles a permanent tooltip of the first item on the list.
  2. Item Name
The name of the icon, colorized to indicate it's rarity.
  3. Item level (white)
The item level of the item. For items that produce an equipable item (such as tier tokens) this will usually have a + appended, which indicates the ilvl displayed is the least possible ilvl of the produced item.
  4. Type and roles (cyan)
Shows the item's different equip slot(s), type, and other information depending on the given item. Some items are also categorized for a particular role (e.g. tanks, ranged dps, etc.) which is also shown if applicable.
  5. Bonuses (green)
If an item has any bonuses those are displayed here. The bonuses tracked are:
    • Sockets
    • Avoidance
    • Leech
    • Speed
    • Indestructible
    • Corruption
  6. Buttons
These are the responses available for the given item. These may change depending on how the Master Looter has setup his buttons options. Upon clicking a response, the item entry is removed, and your response is sent to the council.
  7. Note button
Clicking this opens a small editbox where you can enter a note to send to the council. Press enter to close the editbox and save the note. The note button changes color to indicate a note is saved, and you can hover it to see it. Clicking again allows you to edit the note before sending it. The note is sent along with your response, and the council will then see this note next to your response on the voting frame.
  8. Timeout
If enabled by the Master Looter, this bar shows the remaining time you have left to send your response. The timer is started as soon as you can see the item (which includes the Loot Frame being minimized!), and if it reaches 0, the item will disappear and the council will see you didn't respond on time.

The Loot Frame is how candidates selects their response (rolls) for items, and the main way to communicate to the council. Simply put, it's an enhanced version of the default "Need/Greed/Pass" WoW Group Loot frame. For most non council members, this is the only part of RCLootCouncil they'll interact with. For this reason, it's recommended the Master Looter (and/or loot council) has clarified the intended use of the chosen buttons. The default buttons are listed below.

Depending on settings, some items may be autopassed or otherwise rolled for before being shown in the Loot Frame - this is almost always printed in chat for clarification.

The buttons shown here depends on the Master Looter's settings, and this is where the "button text" part of the settings are used. Once a button is pressed, the response is sent immediately and it cannot be reversed (but the Master Looter can reannounce one or more items to a specific or group of candidates from the voting frame).

A blue border will appear around an item you own to indicate that it's your item. Do note that depending on your group leaders' settings, you might not get to keep an item you got through PL. Group leaders are urged to inform their raiders about this before hand.
