Mission

Release deegree 3.6 for Java 17!

What is planned?

Main goal for this code sprint is to finalize the deegree release version 3.6 for Java 17 and Tomcat 10 (see Issue #1464). This includes the preparation of the build environment and all steps need to build the deegree project with Java 17.

Outcome and report

• bugfix version 3.5.8 created
• pre-release 3.6.0-pre2 with full support for Java 17 and Servlet 6.0 (Tomcat 10.x) created
• resolved 28 issues, see task list for more details
• build infrastructure updated to latest versions of Nexus and Jenkins to support Java 17
